By accessing or using Stop Losing Money to Tax ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Stop Losing Money to Tax provides UK tax calculation tools, optimisation strategies, and educational content. The Service is designed for informational purposes only.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Premium features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on our pricing page.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, yearly, or 3-year depending on your plan).
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
• Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. To request a refund within this period, contact us via our contact page.

5. Accuracy of Calculations

Our tax calculations are based on publicly available HMRC rates, thresholds, and rules for the relevant tax year. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that calculations are error-free or reflect your complete tax position.

• Tax rules change — always check current HMRC guidance.
• We are not liable for any financial loss arising from decisions based on our tools.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our tools or content.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or overload our infrastructure.
• Share, resell, or redistribute premium content to non-subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, branding, design, and code on the Service are owned by Stop Losing Money to Tax and protected by UK intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stop Losing Money to Tax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
